Week 2: Anchored in the Word
Day 14 — Reflection & Group Sharing
Scripture Reading:
“Open my eyes that I may see wonderful things in your law.”
Psalms 119:18 NIV
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.”
Psalms 1:1-3 NIV
Devotional Thought
You’ve just wrapped up Week 2 of The Anchored Life—a week focused on reading the Bible, noticing God’s voice, letting His Word guide your day, and unlocking the Anchored Life through obedience. These habits may feel small, but they’re starting to form roots in your life that really matter.
Today is about pausing, reflecting, and seeing what God has been showing you. Growth happens not just by reading, but by talking about what you’re learning and noticing. When you share with someone else—even casually—it strengthens your faith and encourages them too.
Psalm 119 says, “Open my eyes, that I may see wonderful things in Your law.” Over this week, God has already been opening your eyes. Now take a moment to notice: What stood out? What made you think differently? What stirred something inside you?
You don’t need perfect answers. Just an open heart. Share what you’ve noticed with a friend or in your Anchor Group. This isn’t about being “right”—it’s about learning to walk with God through His Word.
