Whether running, walking or biking we've all experienced the what it's like to try to move against the wind. That's what life's like when we are disconnected and out of rhythm with our Creator. Our greatest successes, even our own religious attempts to reach God in our own strength can leave us  unfulfilled. Yet, Jesus' invitation is so refreshing.

When we experience a real relationship with Him, He leads us and His Spirit moves us to become more like Him as we learn His rhythms of grace. And that's just the beginning.

Danny and Jenny Bennett, driven by a heartfelt calling, embarked on a beautiful journey of planting churches. Their adventure began in 2010 when they relocated to Santa Cruz to plant Santa Cruz Hope Church which began with a small group of friends in a small house near Pleasure Point. Through this courageous leap, countless hearts have joyfully embraced the path to find and follow Jesus.

As their vision blossomed, they were blessed with a new home—a welcoming building in Soquel, marking the evolution into "Hope Church" from its humble beginnings at Del Mar School. Shortly thereafter, the warmth of Hope Church extended to Scotts Valley, creating yet another place of connection. The multiplication extended in 2020, when the Gruber family were sent out to plant “All City Church” in Portland, Or. Then in 2021, the Bennett’s were entrusted with shepherding The Coastlands Church in Aptos, a community steeped in a rich 37-year history of nurturing leaders and birthing new congregations.

This pivotal moment marked the beginning of a harmonious partnership between Hope and Coastlands, giving rise to Tradewinds Church—a unified family flourishing across multiple locations. Consider this your personal invitation to join the adventure!
